One crime + a thousand different narratives = FX’s five-part documentary series, A Wilderness of Error. We executed the banner campaign, a versatile motion poster that was utilized in banners and social, and a special Twitter promotion to help drive tune-in.
We provided copy and creative for a twelve-part promoted Twitter timeline “Chronology of a Crime”. It was a media-rich thread that walked viewers through a timeline of the notorious murder case detailed in the documentary series inviting fans to engage in the conversation on Twitter - a conversation that started fifty years ago.
The banner campaign included both standard and rich media placements that featured the trailer and motion poster, as well as in-app placements on streaming platforms such as Hulu, Amazon Fire TV, Roku, and DirecTV.
